Shoots Room, for 2 - 3 year-olds
Independence
Around their 2nd birthday, children will move from the Sprouts Room to the Shoots room catered to toddler daycare and education. Here, they can access lots of learning and play opportunities through our independence based curriculum.
There are focused areas for various avenues of play and learning: mark making, emotion discovery number, water and sand play and so on. We will also be encouraging toilet training in this room – we are here to support your children at their pace. Routine will be familiar by now but we will be offering a further range of structured activities to enhance your children's skills.
We want your toddler to find confidence in their independence so we encourage putting on their own shoes and coats, pouring their own drink and serving their own dinner.
